Mary Mediatrix Medical Center
Mary Mediatrix Medical Center (MMMC), located in JP Laurel Highway, Lipa City, Batangas, traces its roots back to the 1960s when it was first established as the 30-bed Magsino General Hospital. In 1977, the institution was formally incorporated, marking a significant step in its organizational growth and commitment to structured healthcare delivery. In 1994, it was rebranded as Mary Mediatrix Medical Center, accompanied by an expansion into a 100-bed facility to better serve the increasing healthcare needs of the community.
Today, MMMC is an ISO-certified, leading tertiary-level hospital and referral center in Southern Luzon, classified by the Department of Health as a Center of Excellence. It has grown into a 120-bed capacity facility, houses its own specialized institutes for Heart, Cancer, Renal and Transplant, and Clinical Neurosciences, and is a member of the Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc. (MGHI) network, providing comprehensive and advanced medical services under one roof.
Over the years, the institution has continuously evolved through strategic infrastructure developments, including the construction of a hospital annex in 2014, the establishment of a dedicated cancer center in 2021, and the completion of the six-story Annex 2 Building in 2025. MMMC has also expanded its reach through satellite clinics in various locations, further enhancing accessibility to quality healthcare services.
